yea… i am so happy to be back for our sneak peek fridays. i have certainly missed my visits to see what all of your creative hearts have been up to.
well… i think those of you who participated last year in our 'in the studio' posts can guess what i have been busy with in my studio. for any new friends here… i have a completely new blog! usually i have photos of what i have been working on, but today all you have to do is look around the blog.
let me say it was a long process for me. i knew and understood blogger, wordpress was like a foreign language to me. my dear husband heard a whole lot of "what was i thinking trying to do this myself." lol
little by little, day by day, i would get one more piece done. as each day went by i would understand where on the css code (which i still see in my sleep) i could make an adjustment. somethings seemed to just happen and i don't even know how i did it. i made a list of main things i wanted on my site and it was a celebration each time i accomplished something from my list.
i must say, i really enjoy many of the features that i have been able with this new blog. i like having a contact page right on my site. i like having a separate archives page that lists post by title. i am still working on my news page. i plan on updating it the beginning of each month as to what is new around here.
now I just need to get everyone over to the new blog. followers need to update following themselves in order to see the new posts in their readers/dashboards. i know i will lose some people because of moving. but i am really happy with the new digs… and don't plan on having to 'move' again! lol
so… if anyone ever makes a move from blogger to wordpress… i can help you with at least some parts! lol i will be your cheerleader because i know the work it takes.
♥
ready to share? let us celebrate the process and the accomplishments. please remember we want this to be an encouraging group, it would be wonderful for you to visit the other studios.

I am in awe>>>>it is beautiful and the hard work really shows.
You go girl!
ok, I plan on switchN to wordpress next week but I've saved my dot com to hopefully make it easier but I am fearful because I used wordpree.com before and lost my entire photo blog in one fell swoop. I love your new site!
I love your new blog! It looks so professional!
You have done an amazing job with your site! My husband has recently been trying to make a wordpress blog for his woodworking and it has not been easy for him either. Definitely a struggle but it looks so worth it in the end! Glad your back. :)
I popped in to join you today. =) I had a productive week…well, sort of. Crossed one to do off my list. =)
I think you did a fabulous job on your new blog. I am joining you today even though I've not been super artsy this week.
i'm impressed. i want to change over to wordpress but feel like hiring someone to do it for me….linking up today but feeling inadequate b/c i have ZERO visual art skills. which i think is a gift from God – i can help my artistically challenged students!
i am so happy that you joined us kendal! do not feel inadequate! God blesses us all with different gifts. this is meant to be fun… no judging around here! i hope you will continue to join us.
Hey there … finally remembered to become a follower … again!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing right now too.
I hadn't realized you did this all yourself! Can I hire you? :) I know you would rather be splashing paint around by now. Bravo for a site well done. Love it!
So happy to beging writing in my blog for Sneak Peek Fridays. Congratulations for the wonderful work done in your blog. I love everything, specially the store. I want one just like that for my web site! Have a lovely and fun weekend!
I can't even imagine myself doing such a thing Jen. Every time I add one little thing to my blogger design my heartbeat accelerates and I hold my breath.
You did a fine job. It all looks beautiful, and I like all the bells and whistles!
I love your new place! I am so scared of WP – I am totally fine with the posting part – I know that part inside out! But the designing hurts my poor brain! :P Good job, girl!!
Great website – I will remember where to go to for help if I decide to make the move. And also, I am so glad Sneak Peek is back! I am loving visiting everyone and meeting new friends.
Blessings,
Cindy
Love your new digs, Jennifer!!! GREAT job!
