this week in the studio…
you might remember a few 'in the studios' ago i showed you a piece of art that i was working on using plaster. i have to say it was really interesting to work with. it produced some really neat textures. i am happy to report… the piece is now finished!

It made me think… do we believe we have everything we need? Truly believe? Do we trust that we have everything we need? Everything we need. Just like this mama bird. He provides for us always and He provides for us abundantly.

Jennifer, this is one of my favorite things you have ever done! It turned out beautifully – the wonderful, crackled texture. the layers, the depth of color (one of my favorites :), the wing and the message. It all comes together perfectly! Can't wait to buy a print!!!

I love wings in paintings, bird wings and butterfly ones both! I even found some photoshop "brushes" that are various wings…I am looking forward to doing a mixed media looking piece with them in CS5!

"Let your soul soar" is beautiful Jennifer!!! He is such an amazing provider. I often find myself relating birds' lives to our own. Through the bad weather, finding food… He still takes care of them and provides for them… the same with us. It is amazing! :)
