studio sneak peek… owl in progress.

sneak peek

this week in the studio…

i think i just about have this little guy finished up. i still might add some color around his eyes. maybe yellow? i thought it best to stop last night and take a fresh look today before adding color that i can not take away. :)

he will be made into mounted prints too!

i am so looking forward to seeing your creative heart this week.

ready to share? let us celebrate the process and the accomplishments.
please remember we want this to be an encouraging group, it would be wonderful if you would visit as many of the other studios as you can.
and remember… 'studio' is meant to be wherever you are creating.
if you are new, check the about post. you can grab the button right here.

please include the button or a link back to this post so people know where to find everyone.

Oh my goodness! He's too cute! I just may have to get a print for a friend of mine who is in the process of adopting! There's a wonderful "God story" (for lack of better words) about owls & stuff, so they're special to her! I'm attempting to knit something with an owl for her, too. We'll see how that goes… :)

  10. Cynthia says:

  17. Frances says:

This is great. Owls are a lifelong love of mine! :) And I can definitely think back to a lot of good "break" opportunities, where I kept going instead, and then wished I hadn't.. so that's wise of you to step back for a bit! ;) ~Frances

  19. Anna says:

We love owls lately too! One of the first signs my little Grace learned when she was stateside. It was so adorable. thank you for hosting us again today. Have a blessed weekend!!!

  20. Jennifer says:

I love your owl, Jennifer! When I was growing up in the seventies, owls were all the rage! I had lots of round-eyed friends to decorate my room :) Love the book pages and the circle leaves in the background. So darn cute!

  21. Super cute and love the message.

  22. This is looking good Jennifer and a great message as usual. Trying to choose colours is so much easier with natural light, good decision to leave it for a new day.

Hi Jennifer! I think your little owl is so ADORABLE! :)

I accidentally linked to my website instead of my blog post where I introduce the new jewelry. Lol Every time I link up here I mess it up! Sorry! I have no problem if you just leave it, I just didn't want you to think I was cheating. haha

    Have a blessed weekend friend!

Such an adorable, sweet owl. I adore the message too. God made each one of us so special and unique. This painting is a great reminder of that. Happy Weekend!!

  30. Roberta says:

Wow…nothing like being dead last…or better late than never ;} Very busy weekend and wasn't sure if I was going to have time to blog…but hubby is watching the race so I'm taking advantage of the time…the constant whirring sound of cars racing around the track always makes me want to take a nap…just like the annoucer guys on golf when the "whisper"…puts me right out…lol BUT I found it off and typed away!
Love your OWL Jennifer…really like the painting over word text. I did the same thing this week when I collaged with my Chinese newspaper…it really is a small world ;" Thanks for hosting and have a wonderufl week, fondly, Roberta
