i am a may baby and i received such a sweet gift from my mom for my birthday.
a personal birthday cake, in a special mug, just for me. having your own individual cake makes you feel extra special! we all want to make our loved ones feel extra special.
they are, after all, precious gifts from above!

today i am continuing my list…
my list of one thousand gifts.
i am writing them down, one to one thousand.
not of gifts i want. but gifts i have.
496… the sound of rain on the windows.
497… my nephew interviewing me about my job for his school project.
498… leftover. delicious and easy.
499… a long drive to chat with my husband.
500… mowing and remembering that i really do enjoy it.
501… for insurance after storm damage.
502… quite time to read.
503… my Godchild thinking of me when he heard about a photo contest.
504… my mom calling me with a wonderful idea to write about.
505… green and pink together in nature. so pretty. so amazing.

i finished a custom order piece.

so today is all about green. around here… in the country… in a farming family…
green means john deere green. :)
