Oh, those adorable deer! We have them sometimes, but my cute nemesis is the bunny. They eat and eat and eat. Sometimes I yell at them when they come up the stairs to my deck to eat the herbs! I open the door and tell them that's my human space, not theirs, so go away. They kind of listen:) Now my girls are preparing for their ballet performance of The Velveteen Rabbit. . . and my no grace approach to the bunnies is bugging me. But I still want my flowers! And herbs. Whew. Glad you posted this so I could get all of that off my chest~thanks:)

Im thinking I've read human hair clippings is a deterrant. Someone suggested asking friends that were hairdressers for them . Maybe I remember the author suggesting putting the hair in bags made from pantyhose. I have no idea where I would've gotten this thought from. Giggle. Google it first to see if I've actually lost my mind for sure during the wedding this past weekend. Wink.(where we live the squirrels dig up the bulbs and eat them. Grumble)

yes..and the day lilies, the forsythia, the flowers…the deer deterrent spray works but it is very $.
