Souls Over Stats

There's a lot of advice out there right now.
Post this. Use that sound. Follow this formula. Grow faster. Reach more people.
And honestly — it can feel like a lot.
The truth is, I'm just one person living a real life. My husband and I both navigate chronic health issues. Some days are filled with appointments and hard moments. And in between there's still laundry, dishes, and supper to make.
I don't have the capacity to play the constant game of trends and algorithms. And honestly — I don't want to. I don't want to go viral if it means losing the people I'm actually here to serve.
Because this was never about numbers. It's about people.
It's about the quiet ways we show up for each other. The small things that remind someone they're not alone. The moments that don't look like much but mean everything.
I'm not here for the stats. I'm here for the souls.
For the ones who still believe small things matter. For the ones who send the note, check in again, show up quietly and consistently. For the ones who are trying to love people well in the middle of real, everyday life.
Choosing the Steady Spot
I want this space — my blog and my emails — to be something different.
Not loud. Not fast. Not driven by whatever is trending this week.
Just steady.
A place where you don't have to keep up. A place you can come back to. A bright spot in the middle of everything else.
When I first shared this in an email, the response stopped me:
"I'm definitely in. I like the idea of a bright space to be connected." "Amen to everything you said. I'm all in." "This email was perfect in its timing and substance."
If you're someone who believes small gestures matter, I'm really glad you're here. We don't have to be perfect to build a community. We just have to keep showing up for each other.
If you want to stay connected in a quieter, more intentional way — join us here. It's where I share real encouragement, what I'm creating, and what Noteables is becoming.
